Race Day
Race Day will be so much more than just a 3km run through London’s Royal Parks! There will be many activities to keep you and your family and friends busy whilst they wait to cheer you across the finish line.
Once again we will be planning a fun-packed programme of activities with our event partners and charities on the day. There will be a wide range of fun sporting activities and arts & crafts for the whole family to try, a scrumptious farmers market, big screen entertainment and live music, plus lots of giveaways.
Race Day:
Every Pulse3K runner will receive a race pack. Inside the race pack there is a Pulse3K information leaflet showing a detailed route and festival area map and key timings for race day.
When you arrive into Hyde Park keep your eyes peeled for the Pulse3K signs which will lead you towards the Pulse3K Marquee. Please ensure that you give yourself plenty of time to get to the Pulse3K Marquee and that you are ready to run. See key timings for more information.

Prizes:
All participants will receive a free bamboo and recycled polyester race shirt and a finisher’s wooden medal.
The race categories are:
- 11 years old
- 12 – 13 year olds
- 14 – 16 year olds
Each male and female winner in each category above will also win a fantastic pack of goodies TBC.
Repatriation:
What is repatriation?
Repatriation is a way to find your parent or guardian after you have finished the race. Pulse3K runners will find their repatriation wristband in their race packs – one for themselves and one for their parent or guardian. Pulse3K runners must remember to write a phone number of their parent or guardian on their wristband, and wear it on race day, if they want to be sure they can find their parent or guardian after the race.
How does repatriation work at the finish line? There will be two exit points. One exit point is for Pulse3K participants who are comfortable to move into the Food & Fitness Festival on their own. The other exit point is for Pulse3K participants who are wearing a repatriation wristband. Parents or guardians of these children must meet them here. Both areas will be signposted on the day.
All of the above information is also available in the race packs sent to all runners prior to race day (unless race pack collection has been arranged instead).
